Join us for a winter adventure like no other! Kids will learn a variety of outdoor winter skills including winter survival, snowshoeing, and animal tracking. This class will be filled with fun activities and games that help kids learn a variety of skills in each of these areas like making fire and how to follow tracks and navigate through snow safely. While doing all of this they will also be working on skills in teamwork, observation, and more! Make sure to dress for the weather as most of the class will be spent outdoors! Register by Dec. 27th.
Dive into the thrilling world of extreme weather and natural disasters in this after school class! From the fiery chaos of forest fires to the icy grip of avalanches, students will uncover the science behind these mesmerizing events and learn how to stay safe in the face of adversity. Students will also discover how these weather events alter habitats around the world and affect humans and wildlife.
